About: Reclaimed Mid Century Pine – Unfinished
Reclaimed Mid-Century Pine offers an old brown and bleached grey style of texture and colour.
Inspired by old pine planks reclaimed from Victorian Cotton mills in North West England. The North West of England was the industrial powerhouse during the 19th Century, buzzing with cotton exports passing through the Manchester ship canal.
The case study is an example of how the unfinished pine can look once finished on-site.
NOTE: If you purchase the Unfinished option as either solid or engineered, we are more than happy to share our preferred brand names for finishing products so that your installer is best equipped to create the ideal colour for you and your interior project. Typically we use Ciranova, Bona, Saicos or Osmo for the top coat and Morrels for staining and washes. We see our Mid Century Pine designs as authentic and noble vessels based on their origins' honesty. This collection has been reclaimed from renovation projects varying from historic properties to contemporary developments in the UK and from across Europe.
This collection of pine exhibits a genuine reclaimed and aged surface and is available pre-finished in various colours with 2 coats of hard wax oil for a natural, satin and almost matt patina. Easy, Clean, No mess, Authentic.

If you are concerned about colour variation you can order a sample panel for a refundable deposit. Please remember that we are not creating exact copies of floor panels or hand samples, we are creating individual floors with their own unique personality and charm.
